x2 on the sleeveless.  I bought one with sleeves specifically for New Orleans last year and really could have done without one all together.  Was way too hot with the sleeves. I think the temp last year was 72-74 and the race was two weeks earlier, although we have had colder weather later this year.  There is a buoy on the northshore where you can get current water temps.

I rented from these guys for IMNO last year.  For an additional fee, you can get your suit a week or two early and try it out.  I liked these guys bc you don't have to jump feet-first into a $450 purchase not knowing if you'll like the product or not.  I hate buyer's remorse. 
 
 
They will also let you purchase the suit you rented and will credit your rental fee towards the final suit cost.
